Bio-coal (or white coal) is a solid eco-friendly fuel manufactured by compressing biomass (agricultural waste) such as ground nut shell, mustard stalk, etc. Bio-coal is generally manufactured in the form of briquettes of various sizes such as 60, 70 or 90 mm. The calorific value of the bio-coal depends on the raw material (biomass) from which it is manufactured. It can be used as an eco-friendly substitute for fuels like coal and wood logs. We take pride in being manufacturers of high calorific value bio-coal. We deal in two sizes of briquettes as 60 mm and 70 mm. The calorific value (CV) of our briquettes ranges from 4000 to 4500 kcal/kg. Bio-coal briquettes are produced as per client requirements.
Bio-coal has calorific value in the range of 'D' grade black coal whereas its ash content is less than one-fifth that of black coal. Bio-coal is very much less polluting than coal or wood because of the following reasons:
